Anti-Masonry points of view @ 07-28-2007 04:15 PM

Since the earliest days of Freemasonry, there were people and groups who opposed its existence for various reasons. On this site, we describe:
The objections to Freemasonry - including New World Order stuff, Freemasonry is a religion and more.
Those who oppose Masons and Masonry - with lots of information.

Hi Peter, I know you from Lodge room uk.

I must say brother from my point of veiw, the "anti" freemason stuff is geting really over the top of late, with such people as David Icke, who had a bit of a following but lost it by going over the top and miss leading his following.
He is a mad man!

I am not going to post about the nut/drunk subjects he writes about freemasonry(Google it :-\)

What I am trying to say is that I think the Anti Freemasonry thing is slowly going.

My 10 pence

Anti sites are getting less and less because of the internet. People can now see the truth behind Freemasonry as we have nothing to hide and let non Masons have their owns thoughts. It is best not to rip into anti Masons as they will see in the long run we stick to our beliefs and have nothing to prove to others.

Great post.

I think over zealous religious types get far too hung up on the dogma of their belief systems to the point of intolerance and condemnation of all else. “Our way or you are going to Hell way”. They blindly attack what they don’t understand through fear/ignorance.

There is something true and good in most religions. It seems to me that Freemasonry allows men of all faiths to put differences of concepts of deity aside, allowing them to find and choose god for themselves. Freemasonry unifies men into a truly universal system that shelves religious conflicts and helps men to focus on what is right and what is good for the betterment of themselves and others.

If one approaches Freemasonry objectively and searches for truth, I find it impossible to come up with any other opinion or conclusion.

I thought it would be useful to include the following links, which are described as, “intended to address issues of wilful ignorance or malicious misinformation”.

(Riding a goat in initiation takes the prize for me)!

Phoenix.
