Smoking is very hard to stop if you have been smoking for a while. I have tried to stop on numerous occasions but find it hard as, to be honest I enjoy a smoke especially at the festive board after a drink and meal. You have to want to give up and for the right reasons. It is all to do with will power.

I quit before for 3 whole months off the GUM but the stress of having a finace (now ex-fiance) made me start back...
I figure maybe I should quit soon, ive been a smoker since age 10 for 12 years now 
I did it like most kids, to "look cool" but I made the mistake of inhaling the first time :
I love to smoke... However this isnt so much a scam... No, it hasnt scientifically been proven to stop smoking... But like he said below, you have to want to do it. People have all kinds of ridiculous habits and if someone BELIEVES it works, its mind over matter. You just have to convince your brain that it doesnt want it. Good luck trying it on me!
a woman from my work today told me it is not FDA approved and its for Experimental purposes as of now... so that makes me wonder if 20, 30 years down the road, im gonna get some major health issue from it... so i dunno if ima do it or not

Yes I have tried but my partner stops and starts and it is hard to stop when someone else in the house is still smoking.
