Do you ever get stuff sent to your by your grand lodge asking you take the item(s) and send a donation?
We do
I just got tonight some mail address labels
pretty neat and the last time, I got two stickers...

We get stuff about the samaritan jewels etc but thats to the whole lodge and the Masonic charities.
We get mail regarding Provincial meeting dates and info on Grand charities and how we can donate. There are raffle tickets on sale at present from Province to win a car. Money is going towards building a Masonic retirement home for Masons and widows of Masons.
Im not in "Lodge" but I know I get sent an FYI from the Grand Worthy Matron about her "Special Project" and everyone just automatically sends money. Sometimes its cancer, diabetes... things like that.
I know our lodge gets many requests for donations throughout the year. I think they get a couple from grand lodge asking for donations to many of their charities.
