Are you in Royal Arch or Mark Masonry and have they fulfilled your expectations?
Mark Masonry has fulfilled my expectations and a wonderful enlightening degree. I will let you know about RA Chapter this Mon 30 Oct when I will be Exalted.
RA Chapter is awe inspiring and I recommend it to all. If you get the chance do Mark first then Chapter and the whole picture of the EA, FC and MM degrees will come together.
I have been involved in both Mark and Royal Arch Masonry since 1988, and have reached the dizzy heights of Worshipful Mark Master and First Principal.

I find great enjoyment in both of these Degrees, and personally, I would like to see a Candidate do the Mark Degree straight after the Fellowcraft, and the Royal Arch straight after the Master Mason. This would complete each Degree.

cheers

Yes I agree. Although I do think though that some people are pushed into the side orders before they are fully ready for commitment. Mark and RA are great for additional information but I personally do not think they are the completion of the FC and MM degrees.
I am looking forward to the Chair in Mark but have not had time at present to take office in RA. I will wait until I have gone through the chair in Mark and Craft before starting my journey in RA (he says with baited breath!). Wink
I couldn't agree more. mmm and ra really round out the blue lodge experience.
I will keep that in mind.
RA and Mark degrees complete the story/allegory that was began with the Ae ,FC andMM .taken asa whole the york rite, though it has been stated many times,is the truer version of the blue lodge experience. It through the auspices of the Mark that completes the story began in the Blue lodge. The Blue Lodge deals with the loss of the Masters Word.To me the culmination of this story brgins inthe 3rd with the symbolism and Allegory of our master that was lost along with the word.though masonry is supossedly becoming a social club,do you not,in those lodges, feel as though you miss something.that maybe there is something there that is not being alluded to? I would have to say "yes". Call me Ancient but the subject matter being dealt with inthe RA/Marktotal York rite Experience would in my personal opinion leave " the social clubbers" dazed and confused as to the what they were supposed to know before entering those holy orders.
