Very cool! Thank you for serving in Iraq and thanks for protecting our freedoms. I wish you the very best luck with the re-organization of the lodge.

Very interesting. Keep up the good work and hope all goes well for the projects.
now do you have extra security at these lodge meetings over there?
Thanks for all of your kind comments. For the record, I am a CIVILIAN computer engineer, I work on a military project here in Iraq. I have been here since August 2005, and I will probably be here through August 2008. We have not yet had a tyled lodge meeting. We do have a Masonic Square and Compasses club, so that we can associate, and keep a meeting area reserved.
We do not have to have any extra security. For the time being, we are meeting in the Recreation Hall, and we have a weekly Masonic luncheon every wednesday in the dining hall.
Hi Charles. How many people do you have to the Masonic Square and Compasses club and are they all Masons?
How is the setting up of the Lodge going, please let us know.
Take care and do not fall off your bicycle!
We have between 3-5 men show up for the meetings, we are just getting underway here at Forward operating Base Sykes, so we will get some more participation, I am sure. We have some members who are already Masons, and a couple of petitioners.
Well I hope and pray for the best outcome possible of your lodge brother

I'm heading back for another hitch in May. I'll be at Ali Air Base. Any word of anything Masonic going on there?
Thank you for serving and protecting us.
