Blue Lodge for Women??? @ 04-13-2008 12:44 PM

I am hearing that there are blue lodges out there that allow women to be welcomed as full blown Masons??? What is the deal with this?

There are a number of All-Women's lodges in some countries. There are a number of lodges, that admit both men and women, these are called "co-Masonic" lodges. See:

http://www.comasonry.org

These lodges are considered "clandestine" by mainstream Masonry, and regularly made masons, are generally forbidden from having any association with co-masons, or their lodges.

Check with your lodge secretary, or your Grand Lodge for more guidance, prior to visiting a co-masonic lodge.

We have OES and that. Is that considered co-Masonry?
