Looking for "Matilda" @ 11-17-2007 05:07 AM

Looking for Matilda.

Matilda is a small ceramic kangaroo planter with an extended pouch, designed for holding a pot plant.

She resides in a carry box and was last seen at my Royal Arch Chapter about 5 years ago

She belongs to the Royal Arch Lodges in Sydney and was used much like a "Travelling Gavel"

The idea was that she would be presented to the incoming First Principals on their Installation day, and an amount equivalent to the proceeds of the raffles (plus any other donations by the Companions) held at the Installation banquets/festive boards would be placed
in her pouch, and eventually would be donated to Charity.

She is believed to be in the USA, but has apparently travelled around some other States of Australia.

If anyone has seen her, I would appreciate it if you could PM me.

cheers

Zambuk

Pot plant as in a flower pot or ya know, um marijuana?

LOL, I don't use of course but over here, that could be mistaken easily!
