Well gents I passed into the second. Hooray, anyway I way was curious to see if any of you might know of some reading I could do to further educate myself about this degree. Any suggestions would be great. Also I was speaking with a brother last night about our lodge attendance. Ours seems to be declining, anyone have some ideas about how to boost it back up? Please let me know. The Lodge is important to me and I would like to see others enjoy it as much as myself.
Bro C.J

Congratulations Brother CJ.

I think one of the answers to your question is "new blood" like yourself. New members seems to be energetic and wanting to help. I think one of the best ways of getting new membership is to promote ourselves to the public. With new membership comes greater lodge attendance. Kind of like the Army used to say, " Were looking for a few good men." Our lodge has marched in local parades and had a booth at the county fair. A variety of ways to get some men that are not currently brothers to start thinking about what are the Masons all about and they may be inclined to look into it a little further.

I have only been in a short time myself, but our lodge seems to be growing all the time with new blood.

Congratulation CJ on your FC degree.
Start looking at the EA and FC Tracing Boards. There is a wealth of information in them.
Remember the famous saying, we do not need more men in Freemasonry but Freemasonry in men.
