I am a new member the the freemason society, and was wondering why is it that the "Anti-masons disslike us so much.

The majority of people who dislike or are against Freemasonry have no idea what it is about. It is a fear of the unknown and a lack of understanding.
Because Freemasonry is thought of as a secret society or a society where secrets are going on behind closed doors, people become suspicious and sometimes even intrigued by the mysteries.
Gossip starts like this when people presume what is going on and tales are spread and this leads to greater and greater tales being told.
The only secrets in Freemasonry are the signs, tokens and passwords which are not really secret but private. We are a family and keep these to ourselves as would anyone with private family information.

With the internet, there are no more secrets.

I have even watched initiations on youtube but IMO us not saying it (even if others know) is the importance, we are staying true to our promises, our obligation!

As for the anti ones, there is an negative for every positive, an anti for everything.

I say let them talk trash at least I am not that low
