I always read something light for about 30 mins before I go to sleep. this always makes me sleepy!
Usually I am so naturally tired I dont have any problems.

I have a non-natural solution. I work alot of swing shifts..2300-0700 then 1500-2300, you
get the idea, no sleep pattern and it was drving me nuts
You see it advertise on TV quite a bit, LUNESTA. and I can say for myself it
works great and you dont wake up the next morning like half your brain is missing
and you better be ready to go to bed when you take it because you will go to sleep!
Just some food for thought

Have you tried meditation. This works for me. You need a dark quiet room.

Re: sleep? @ 10-03-2006 05:38 PM
For a natural remedy theres melatonin. It usually comes in a 2mg capsule. It def doesnt work for me, Id have to take half the bottle...lol The only thing Ive found that will put me out (as I have insomnia) is seroquel. However, theres usually other reasons for not being able to sleep. Rick and I work swing shifts...so thats the cause. But I know that whenever I stress, I cant sleep. Exercise will help with that and cut out the caffeine!!! Hope this helps! If you folks happen to find a miracle cure (I *am* going to try Lunests,ty) call me!!! BTW- Heres a link to read up on Melatonin: http://www.personalhealthfacts.com/sleep/
