Here some bars you can still smoke in under permits. Unless you make all bars no smoking with no exceptions people will have no choice where to smoke. They will stay in the same bar or restuarant as going somewhere else will be no point.

It's final. There is now a town ordinance in Bangor, Maine which makes it illegal to smoke in a vehicle with minors. They say they aren't going to "persue it", meaning if you get pulled over for speeding, they'll give you another ticket for smoking. What I don't understand is that 99.9% of the people who go to Canada have to go through Bangor and 99.9% of the people who come from Quebec to the US have to go through Bangor... So if they don't know about a stupid little town ordinance... I think it's unfair to impose a rul eon people that don't know.
