Just a 3rd degree MM? That is not a just Bro, as a MM is the highest degree in Freemasonry. All the other degrees are side orders or degrees.
I am in Royal Arch and Mark Masonry. I will hopefully be joining Royal Ark Mariners next year and probably OSM after that.
There are a lot of orders I can not join as I have not Christian beliefs.

If Brethren are planning to be WM, I would advise that they do every office on the journey as this will help you learn your ritual as WM. You also have the experience of each office and can advise the Brethren as they progress in their offices. I have seen Brethren jump many offices and then struggle when they get to the East.
Remember it is not the destination but the journey that makes it interesting.

Although new to Masonry, we should take notice of the advice of the experiences of mature members. Some times they may not be correct or have their own opinions but you can choose what you want from the info.
I was told when I first joined to do all the offices or you would struggle when you got to the east.
Rubbish I thought I can handle everything being a new boy on the block. I soon found out!
I am lucky to have a good head for memorising ritual (you need it if you are going to be in 6 different lodges) but have seen to many people crack under pressure. Always ask advice before doing anything in Masonry especially if asked. Stop and say can I get back to you in a few days, I have to check my commitments.
I, on my present course will be in 3 chairs at the same time in differnt orders!
I am now asking experienced brethren from all orders and lodges what they would do. I will collate the info and adjust my course accordingly. I like to plan ahead.

Yes, Great advice! I don't plan to rush into anything and be as mature in it as I can.

I agree Shawn, learn as much as you can now of the ritual, WTS, charges etc. then when ready, this will make the journey through the chairs easier and more enjoyable.
